As you know that IPU is included in jee mains first time from this year .

And CSE is demanding branch and top most priority of every one ; and 88.72 percentile may be not sufficient to get CSE in IPU .

But if seats remains vacant  ; than it is possible that you will get cse in spot rounds . So you should take part instead chances are very less but hope you may get.

But you should have another option available with you along with CSE IPU.
