Yes, With that category rank you can easily get top Nits for CSE.So you should apply for counselling at top NITs and get admission there. Also you should prepare for JEE advanced and try to get CSE in some of the top IITs. You can also try IIIT Hyderabad, NIT allahabad , NIT Bhopal.

With an SC category rank of 1,267 it is going to be difficult for you to get CSE at NIT, Trichy as it closes at about 400 SC rank. But, you can try for branches like Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Production Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering etc.

You will easily get a good college but getting the CSE branch at NIT trichy is very low at this much score.

I will tell you to join CSE at any other college like NIT allahabad, IIIT hyderabad, NIT jaipur, etc. I hope you have got the point.
