I am sorry to tell to that getting CSE at VIT Vellore for your rank is difficult.There are other options available for you.You can very well get IT at Vellore campus.Also, you have a high chance of getting CSE at Chennai campus.CSE is the most opted branch in this campus so you may go for it.Chennai campus also has good placement opportunities.You may consider this as an alternative option.

What is better cse with specialization with bio informatics or IT at vellore campus?

CSE and IT are more or less similar.Only the course structure varies.Most of the companies preferring CSE would definitely consider IT also for placement.The average package would be 4.5-5L pa.When we talk about CSE(Bioinformatics) in VIT the opportunities are not that great.Though Bioinformatics is a research oriented field most of the students land in software companies.
