The rank of the candidate is more important than their score, they can select colleges by seeing the cutoff rank that is presented for the particular year. As of 2017, Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri had 6991 as the last rank for Open Quota in EEE branch and 19969 as the last rank for State Quota. Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore had 4051 as the last rank for Open Quota in EEE branch and 19433 as the last rank for State Quota.
