Hey,

Last year the cut off for SC category in Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida was a rank of 80063 through Uttar Pradesh State Counselling.

With 497 marks, you have a rank between 88751-89428. So based on previous year cut off rank and your rank, you have very little chances of getting a seat in this college.

Hey friend!

On the basis of your current situation (rank , category and home state) ; Then it is slightly difficult as cut off is very high this year. GIMS Greater Noida is a semi-government college so the chances of filling seats at faster rate is higher. As per the NEET guidelines aspirants are required to obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in NEET 2020 entrance examination in order to qualify for further admission process.

Hii ,

Every year the admission in government college differ according to the cutoff and the difficulty level of the exam and also on the total number of candidates appeared in the exam.

The GIMS college is in great demand  because of it's location, amenities provided in terms of infrastructure and academics.

Last year the cut off for this college was very high and emerged as a competitor of old and reputed colleges of Uttar Pradesh like RML Lucknow, GSVM Kanpur, MLN Allahabad, LLRM Merrut etc.

So, as per NEET 2020 result in order to get admission in GIMS through state quota one should have 640+ marks in General category, 635+ in OBC category, 500+ marks in SC & ST category.

But yes you can apply for this college and try your luck because your marks is near closer to the cutoff of this year.
