If you are applying through all state quota then most GMC have closing cuttoff more than 500 marks. You have not mentioned which category and state you belong to. If it is general or OBC category , the chances are less. Last year, a score of 550 or above remained to be a safe zone for the general category and 500 or above for the OBC category. Moreover ranks vary for states also. But one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
