There are many government hospitals, healthcare organizations, Laboratories, Environmental organizations that require microbiology graduates. You can apply in these organizations.

Also, you can appear for examinations like UPSC, Food Inspector exams, etc to work in the public sector. Job in Academics would require a higher education. But there are many public sector jobs for microbiologists.
