can i get haldia with rank of 26k open category i prefer mechanical and electrical branch?please tell asap

Hello Riya,
Considering the last year's cutoff and your rank in open category in WBJEE, there is a tough chance for you to get admission in Haldia Institute of Technology as the branches you want closes at 22260 (for mechanical engineering) and 21070 (for electrical engineering). If not these branches you may easily get Civil Engineering in Haldia Institute of Technology.

Last year cutoff rank till round 4 was:
1) mechanical engineering. 52k
2) electrical engineering. 32k

Round 4 is the mopup round conducted by wbjee.
And spot round is round 5 which is conducted by college itself to fill the vacant seat after mopup round.

Last year civil cutoff till 3rd round for haldia was 28k
So you have probable chances of getting civil there .
