Yes, you can get but mainly you need to concentrate on gate score. It's tough when compare to get cups in gate.

As such there is no clause in the Eligibility criteria of GATE that you must have
some minimum aggregate marks in B.Tech. to be eligible for the exam.
Once you qualify the GATE exam and you try to apply for M.Tech. in some IIT
then your aggregate marks of B.Tech. comes in picture.
IITs require you to have at least 6.5 to 7.0(may vary in different IITs) CGPA on the
scale of 10. Therefore if you have scored more than 65% in B.Tech. you are very
much safe.
It doesn't mean that if you haven't scored that much marks in B.Tech. then you can't
apply for GATE. You can surely apply for GATE but you can't get admission in some IIT
if you don't have that much marks. But, you can be eligible for admission in other
government colleges.
