CAP - Children of Armed Personnel. As per G.O.Ms No 192, Higher Education (EC-32) Department, dated 26.08.1993 following are the priorities to be followed for admission under CAP quota. Priority 1 : Children of Armed Forces personnel, BSF personnel and CRPF personnel killed in action.
Out of these total seats, 138972 seats are available in Private colleges. Admission to 70 percent seats in convenor quota in private colleges will be done through AP EAMCET 2021 counselling and 30 percent through management quota.

The following are the priorities to be followed for admission under the CAP quota, according per G.O.Ms No 192, Higher Education (EC-32) Department, dated 26.08.1993:
Priority 1: Children of Armed Forces, Border Security Forces, and Central Reserve Police Forces members killed in combat.
Priority 2: Children of Armed Forces members, BSF people, and CRPF personnel who have been injured in the line of duty and have been medically disqualified from service.
Priority 3: Children of Armed Forces personnel, BSF personnel, and CRPF personnel who have received Gallantry Awards, with the order of merit for consideration of the Gallantry Awards as follows:
- Armed Forces Personnel
- a. Param Veer Chakra, b. Ashok Chakra, c. Sarvotham Yudha Seva Medal, d. Mahavir Chakra, e. Kirti Chakra, f. Utham Seva Medal, g. Vir Chakra, h. Shourya Chakra, i. Yudha Seva Medal, k. Mention in dispatches
- BSF Personnel, and CRPF Personnel
- President's Police and Fire Services Medal for Gallantry
- President's Police Medal for Gallantry
- Police Medal for Gallantry
Priority 4 : Ex-children, Servicemen's BSF personnel, and CRPF personnel.
To be noted,
- Children who do not fall into any of this category's priority 1 to 4 will not be considered for this quota.
- If there are more than one candidate in a given group in the above-mentioned order of priority, the selection will be made based on the EAMCET rank.
- This reservation will be accessible only to Ex-Servicemen, armed personnel, and others who have lived in Andhra Pradesh for a minimum of five years and are covered by G.O.P No. 646, dated 10.07.1979 (Six point formula), and G.O.Ms No. 370, dated 18.10.1994.
- In order to be considered for admission, children of ex-servicemen and service men residing in the state of Andhra Pradesh must provide a residence certificate issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) from the Mandal where the candidate says his dad is a resident.
- Candidates seeking admission in this category should provide documentary evidence from a qualified delegate of defence BSF/CRPF authority.
