Yes, With a score of 500 you can secure a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. But you have not mentioned which category you belong to. Yet, last year, a score of 493 was enough to fetch a seat in the Government medical college, Khandwa I'm general category under the state quota. One thing to keep in mind, scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
