You have not mentioned whether you belong to OBC-CL or OBC-NCL. If you belong to OBC-CL then you are considered as general category candidate. In 2019 a candidate with rank 21256 belonging to general category from other state secured seat in NIT, Jamshedpur in Mechanical Engineering and a candidate belonging to OBC-NCL from other state with rank 6850 secured seat in Mechanical Engineering in NIT, Jamshedpur.
