According to your rank and category it would be tough to get admission in any good nit or iiit . Still you may try for your home state NIT or the low nits as the cutoff is generally lower . But be sure to apply for home state counselling like Delhi , Uttarakhand , Uttar Pradesh etc , because you might be eligible for several state government engineering colleges .

Also you can take admission in several good peivate colleges , like thapar , jaypee etc .
