Hi

With 85 percentile

Your obc rank will be around 50,000.

With this rank you do hold some chances under home state quota in NIT Silchar

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, under home state quota  52116 was closing obc rank for gender neutral for obc category in NIT silchar  and it was for civil engineering

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

To improve your score in remaining sessions of JEE main you should focus on your preparation go through previous year question papers ,mock test papers and to help you in your preparation we have jee main knockout out for you, for which  is provided below
