can I get NIT surathkal with 40000 rank of computer science

The previous year cutoff for CSE branch at National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal was 3561 for home state student and 2156 for other state student.

As per the cutoffs mentioned above you will not get CSE in NIT Surathkal.

Yes, you may get some lower cutoff branches like Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Food Processing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering at lower cutoff NITs like NIT Mizoram, NIT Arunachal Pradesh etc.

You may get admission in state level colleges or private colleges in CSE branch also.

NIT surathkal is one of the the best institute situated in mangaluru Karnataka, which accures 13th nirf ranking. Computer science and Engineering is really a demanding and top course in this time.

Sorry to say you but in this rank in JEE main you cannot get any NIT in CSE branch. You may can get some other branches like mechanical engineering petrochemical engineering mining engineering textile engineering etc in some nits. Click on the link below to predict your college
