can I get nit with 62 percentile for st category

Category rank is estimated to be above 50,000. Considering the previous cut off you do not have chances to get seat in an NIT. You need to score minimum 94-96 percentile or above in JEE Main in order to get seat in an NIT. However, you do have chances to qualify in JEE Main. Last year the qualifying cut off percentile for ST category was 39.0696101 and this year it is expected to be in between 40-45 percentile. You may appear for JEE Advanced. Cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
