Hi,

You haven't mentioned your rank so I have to predict your rank in order to answer your questions. With 98 percentile your CRL rank would be around 20000. The seat allotment of NIT depends on Category, gender, Home state etc. Following are the NITs that you could get with 98 percentile:

  • NIT Bhopal: Branches like Mechanical, Metallurgy
  • NIT Jaipur: Branches like Mechanical, Metallurgy
  • NIT Surat: Branches like Electrical, Mechanical etc.
  • NIT Nagpur: Branches like Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical etc.
  • NIT Andhra Pradesh: CSE, ECE, Electrical etc.
  • NIT Patna: May get CSE, EE, ECE

Apart from these, you could get North Eastern NITs like NIT Manipur, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Sikkim.
