Yes there are chances of getting placements after Diploma. It depends on your course and College. But, For better career opportunities you can choose to go with higher studies since most of the IT companies prefer BE graduates. If you want to go with placements then you can go ahead but remember it can be quiet tough to get a good position with desired payment and its always preferable to opt for higher studies after diploma.
