can i get scholarship in LPU in bsc agriculture without attempting LPUNEST
Dear,To take admission at LPU,You need to fulfill the eligibility of B.sc hons agriculture program that is - Qualifying LPUNEST or CUET and pass with 60% aggregate marks in:
(a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or
(b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) with English or (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. Condition of English as a subject may be waived off provided the candidate has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants).
Note:
The minimum age to take admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is 16 years
Hi there , for admission in Bsc. agriculture you need to qualify LPUNEST test and its not only an entrance but , scholarship test too . On the other hand , if you got 80% or more in 12th class then you will get scholarship on the basis of that . The main thing is , you will only get one scholarship whichever will be higher not both.

The eligibity criteria for the admission in BSC Agriculture is 60% in 10+2/Intermediate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Forestry + LPUNEST
or
60% in 10+2/Intermediate 10+2 (Agriculture) + LPUNEST
OR
60% in 2 year Diploma(Agriculture) after 10th + LPUNEST
so, you have to appear in LPUNEST for the eligibility purpose.
LPUNEST is a National Level test for the eligibility and scholarship.

LPU-NEST is not manadatory to appear if you want admission into BSc Agriculture. Admission to BSc Agriculture in LPU is simply through merit in qualifying examination of 12th. You can also get scholarship for BSc Agriculture without LPU NEST. Apart from LPU NEST, there are other criteria which can fetch you scholarships:-
- Eligibility Qualification( board toppers)
- Certain National Level Tests (like JEE (Main), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT, etc.)
- Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards
- Fee Concession for Defence and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependants
- Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board
- Scholarship for Orphan Applicants
- Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability
