Hey,
Hope you are doing good.
According to me With a rank of 752939 in jee mains i dont think its possible to get into any NITs or IIITs.
Because seats are less and competiton is tough.
All across India there are a total of 31 NITs, 20 GFTIs & 24 IIITs. The total number of seats in all NITs are only 17868,in GFTIs 3979 Seats and in IIITs 3433 total seats were there. Thus seats are only a handful while competitors have become more.
And with this rank i doubt its possible to make it into any of these colleges.
But you can try for private engineering colleges or engineering colleges in various states. The cutoffs go low as compared to that of NITs or IIITs. Also depending on the branch, and its OR and CR also determines the cutoff.
You may try in some state colleges where you might get a seat in brances like biotechnology etc But it is tough. And then again you might get a branch which you wouldn't want.
So i would suggest give a try in the private colleges or deemed universities. The fees will definitely be more than that of government colleges but you might get a seat. But it is difficult.
Or if this was your first or second attempt or you really want to do engineering then you can always take a year drop, prepare better and give it ur best shot the next time and make it into an IIT or an NIT.
Easy said than done, but if its your dream you need to be brave to take little risks too.
All the best for your future.
