Chances are there to get Lower rank NIT campus. There is less possibility to get demanding branches like CSE, ECE so it would be better to apply few options from core and non-technical branch. Look out for branch option which you find interesting for you.
If you apply for college option in your domicile state then you can use home state quota which will help you to lower the cutoff in some extent.
As of now, many factors are unpredictable as many students are there to perform in 2nd session of jee mains and average variable will change and it will also change your rank in final rank list.
