bhargavi...RANK IS GIVEN ACCORDING TO GENERAL RANK, NOT THE CATEGORY RANK. NIT WARANAL: 1000–7000 (gen) 2200–10000 (obc)

It also depends on how high you are aiming.If you want to go for NITs situated in the north east,a score of about 130–140 will be enough but if you are eyeing top NITs like NIT Trichy, you better rock the show and get 270+.Also,the cutoffs for IISc are insane,and usually about 290+.

sorry for the misspredication..its such a small misunderstanding..let me clear you now..candidates can check jee main2018 cut off as experts believe that this year's cut off will be similar to last year's cut off to qualify as for nit for common rank list obc-ncl,sc,st,pwd was 74,45,29,24,-35 respectively...
