It is very unfortunate, but if I am honest to you then you have little to no chance of getting into the best branches and programmes, including IT, with a rank of about one lakh.
To find out which branch you might expect your scope, examine the VIT cutoff from the previous year.
Vit are some of the top colleges and you need good rank to get admission there.
