Candidates who didn't appeared for Wbjee can also take part in WBJEE Counselling but they will be applying through Jee Main or NATA/Jee main Paper 2 score. So you can participate in WBJEE Counselling only if you have given any of the above mentioned examinations such as Jee Main paper 1 or 2 or NATA.

There will be one special round of counselling by WBJEEB for Jee Main and Nata Rank holders. The candidates, who will be applying on the basis of Jee Main paper 1/2 or Nata rank, have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 500. The process is as same as the normal counselling process of WBJEE but a separate notice will be published for this. There is no way by which you can participate in WBJEE without giving the exam.
Only thing you can do is to go for management quota ( 15% of total seats) which would cost you 3-5 times money with respect to admission through exams.
So it would be better to get admission through other Engineering entrance exams like JEE and other state exams.

There is no such criteria that you can take part in WBJEE counselling without giving WBJEE exams.WBJEE counselling are for those candidates who have appeared in WBJEE exams and secured a rank and score.If any candidate opts for counselling through their rank then they have to go to their center and give their documents and then they will clarify more about the seats which is being offered to you in the institutes accepting WBJEE scores.After that if you wish to continue to book your seat then you need to pay Rs 40000/- at least and opt for you desired course which is available.
