If you belong to general category then I'm afraid you won't get into VIPS because their closing rank lies somewhere near 2500. But you fall in reserved category then you may have some chances. But there are other good colleges under IPU you can definitely look out for like

• Ideal Institute of Management and Technology
• JIMS Engineering Management Technical campus, school of Law
• Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology

These are also good and you can have a great career with them since you have got a pretty decent rank.
