You can do so but only if the institution you are studying permits you to do so. Else while you can appear as a Private candidate for Board exams, in any of the cases you will have your practical marks similar as that of previous one and will have to appear for Theory paper only.

It's depends on the institutions in  which you wanna read/ pursue your 12th exam.

Hope you are doing good.

See, If you have completed class 11th with regular mode then you can apply for  class 12th  ,class 11th is compulsory for appearing in 12th.

According to  education policy completion of class 11th is compulsory .

On the basis of class 11th marks you can apply for admission in any private or government school/college.

Nevertheless , depends upon Institution they will allow you or not ,if you fulfill there eligibility criteria ,then surly you can appear in board exams.
