Combined defense service examination is conducted by the UPSC commission for the recruitment into indian military academy.it will conducted twice in a year.
CDS 2019:
CDS 1- 3 feb 2019
CDS 2-8 sep 2019
it is national level entrance exam, conducted in offline mode(paper and pen based).
there are many courses you can take with this entrance, namely
- IMA-Indian military academy
- NA-naval academy
- AFA-air force academy
- OTA-officers training academy for both men and women
each will require certain eligibility to fulfill,
IMA:
Age limit is 20 to 24 years,marital status must be unmarried.the candidate should have graduated in any stream from any recognized university or institution.
NA:
Age limit is 20 to 24 years,marital status must be unmarried.the candidate should have graduated in ENGINEERING stream from any recognized university or institution.
AFA:
Age limit is 20 to 24 years,marital status must be unmarried.the candidate should have graduated in any stream(With physics and maths at +2 level) or bachelor of engineering degree from any recognized university or institution.
OTA:
Age limit is 20 to 24 years,marital status can be unmarried or married.the candidate should have graduated in any stream from any recognized university or institution.
