To qualify the CLAT exam you need to pass class 12th board exam with 45% of marks fir general, OBC categories and special abled persons.

And, for SC/ST categories they need to secure 40% of marks in class 12th board exam.

So, first you need to clear class 12th board exam with respective marks.

To be eligible to write CLAT candidates should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination/ 12th Board Examination from any recognized educational institution with 45% aggregate marks (for UR category) in the qualifying examination. Hence, you cannot write CLAT without giving Class XII boards.
