National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is an entrance exam conducted for admission in MBBS, BDS & Ayush courses offered by all Indian Medical colleges.
There are some eligibility criterias for giving this exam, these are :
- Candidate must have passed 12th examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects
- Candidate must have scored minimum 50% marks (45% for PH and 40% for SC/ST category) in aggregate in the qualifying examination
- Candidate must have minimum 17 years of age for giving this exam.

There is no limit now , you can attempt NEET exam as many times as you want. CBSE introduced 3 attempts for NEET 2 years ago, but it has been scrapped now due to protest from all around.
In order to appear the NEET, the candidate must fulfil attempt limit. From the year 2019, candidates can get the maximum attempt limit. There may be 9 attempts(GEN/OBC category) & 14 attempts (Reserved category) to qualify the NEET exam.
There is lower age limit i.e 17 years but there is no upper age limit for students. The exact date for NEET upper age limit has not been revealed by NTA as yet.
