In order to apply for NEET, candidates need to fulfill the following criteria-

Attained 17 years age by 31st December of that year.

Passed  or appearing 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects, those having Biology as an additional are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET is based on PCB aggregate only against each category mentioned below-

• UR - 50%,
• OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
• PWD - 45%

There's no upper age limit in NEET, so no restriction also in terms of appearing for this examination.

So, to answer your question, you'll be eligible to apply for NEET 2021 as you will be 17 years old by January of 2021 provided you meet other requirements as well mentioned above.

The eligibility criteria is as follows Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2020.

Now since the NEET exam is generally conducted in may your age on 1st may 2020 will be 17 years 3 months and 15 days which does not fulfil the criteria.
