Can I go for llb without any other integrated subject (like BA, bba, bcom) after doing my 12th???
No you cannot go for Law without BA BCOM directly after 12th.
There are two types of Law courses in India- 5 year integrated law courses and 3 year LLB courses.
If you wish to pursue law directly after Class 12th then you will have to go for a 5 year integrated law course like BA LLB, BCOM LLB etc which combines a graduate degree with law.
The second type of law course which ia the LLB course simply for 3 years can be pursued only after you have any undergraduate degree like BA, BCOM etc separately.
Hence for Law you will either have go for an integrated course which will take up 5 years or you will have to first pursue any graduate degree like BA BCOM etc and then go for 3 year LLB which will take y in total.
So for people directly looking for law courses after 12th shouls go for 5 year law.
Top colleges like NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR and other NLUs offer only 5 year integrated law courses you can take admission in NLUs through CLAT. There are variouas other good law colleges too apart from NLUs with entrance exam like MHCET, LSAT, SLAT, AILET etc
Best of luck
Hey Rushika,
As much as I'm aware of After 12th you can go For LLB you just have to give the entrance exam I guess it's called CLAT. After 12th LLB Is About 5 Years but after BA or BBA Or BCom etc courses it's lesser I assume about 2 years or so. So confirm with your teacher which one you should pursue. 5 Years straight or with additional degree.
Best Of Luck
