HELLO DASARAPU,
According to your question as you have mentioned that you got 231 rank in your neet exam so first of all I want to know that do you belong to any reserved category or from unreserved category.
Admission to BAMS is based on marks in NEET exam.
Cut-off is based on No. Of factors.
Type of College - There are 3 types of Colleges for BAMS
1) Government - Cut-off of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000
2) Semi - Government - Cut-off for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 40–50000. Its Cut-off is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.
3) Private - Now this is the most variable type of cut-off. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cut-off and high Fee College has low cut-off. Fees is in range of 1–3 lakh per year. Cut-off is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC.
You can also get for lower marks with donation or some management quota or Vacancy quota.
So yes if we considered to last year cut off you can but we cannot confirm this it’s just an assumption the decision can take when the results are out so you have to wait till the cut off is out.
As last year cut off open at 40 and closed at 700 so its depend upon the college to college.
Let’s see what is new this time.
Thanks
Sorry to say but chances are less for you to get a seat in any mbbs . you atleast need to score 440+ in government BAMS and 400+ for semi government and 350+ in private BAMS
For BHMS 350+ is sufficient.

Hey Aspirant,
Yes you can go for the counseling but you won't get a dental college because the cut off for dental colleges are pretty high. If you want to go for bams and bhms then you'll surely get a college. Keep yourself updated with the dates of counseling so that you don't miss it.
I hope this helps you, good luck!
