Yes you can go with trueman biology for NEET examination it is a standard book for preparation of the NEET examination for biology subject listen you can use any of the book you feel convenient to preparation of the NEET examination but I would like to tell you that you should have to be well versed in the ncert biology textbooks text if you have to be a good scorer in NEET examination of you have not yet still do that firstly.
hi rangan, i have been where you are now. yes there are many books out there and they are all good in their own way, but the preference varies from person to person , for neet biology make sure that you thorough the ncert first as when i attended around 310 marks were out of ncert text book, and i would suggest you to use your entrance coaching material along with ncert first. understand the concepts well, use any good book you like(could be trueman as you asked) just to solve more and more questions, analyse , rectify and learn from your mistakes, good luck
Truemen's biology is a good book. You can use it in addition ro ncert
But ncert is must
Other books you can use are :
For biology : dinesh , coaching books , mtg
Chemistry : abc , coaching books , op tandon
Physics: coaching books , hc verma
All the very best
Hope it helps
Hi Bhargav Kashyap
Trueman's Objective is the good book, go for anyone out of these given below and you will achieve success and come with flying colours.
NCERT is must to do for all subjects.
Apart from it there are reference books as I have listed down.
These are some objective books other than NCERT that you should refer to prepare for NEET:
Biology:
Objective Biology by Dinesh, AIIMS Explorer by MTG publication, Trueman’s Objective Biology
Physics:
Physics for Medical Entrance Examinations by D.C Pandey (Arihant Publications)
Chemistry:
Objective Chemistry (Volume 1 and 2) by Arihant publications
All the best.
Here are some other options.
Study the concepts in depth, don't read superficially.
Try to clock 100 hours a week.
Maintain your health
Sleep is crucial, else you'll get exhausted before time.
Form a study group, discuss with friends
Stay motivated.
No pain no gain, you won't get this opportunity again. Make the most of it.
Donot waste time, invest time.
Revisions are the most important
It is said that hand written notes are well remembered than printed material, make your own notes, keep reading it again and again.
The best books you can refer to are the NCERT,
For biology, refer the following.
1) Trueman's Biology vol 1 and vol 2
2) Dinesh- Objective biology
3) Pradeep publication Biology
4) GRB'S Publication Biology.
For Physics refer to he following books.
1) H.C.Verma - Concepts of Physics.
2) D.C Pandey - Objective Physics.
3) Fundamentals of physics by Walker
4) Problems in Physics by I.E.Irodov
For chemistry you can refer the following books
1) O.P Tandon - Physical Chemistry
2) Morrison and Boyd - Organic Chemistry
3) Modern ABC's of chemistry
4) J.D.Lee Inorganic chemistry
5) Dinesh
Ncerts are mandatory to have, refer the rest of the books and find out which one suits you. I would advice you not to buy all the books but to refer them and see which one is better for you.
In the end it doesn't depend upon which book is better but how good can you understand the concepts
Also, for the general knowledge subscribe magazines, they will be useful.
Hope this helps.
Goodluck!
