JAMMU UNIVERSITY : The university of jaammu was established in 1969 by an act of the state legislature which effectively split the jammu and kashmir university into the seprate universities of the jammu and kashmir. jammu an kashmir is approved by the university grants commisions and is accredited aith grade A. by NAAC.

The university grants degree hold examination as well as confers diverse academics distinctions on the persons through full.-time course provided by teh university . The  course are provided with the help of 11 department.

COURSES OFFERED :

Jammu university offered bt under graduate course as well as post graduate courses to the studnets . it is the first ever university in india to recieve the ISO-9001 certification for all its courses. teh university offers the doctrol programme.

ELIGIBILITY CRIETERIA :

• Candidate must have cleared their 10+2 with minimum 50% on an average (for general category) and 45% (for sc/st category ). for under graduaet programme.
• candidate must have cleared their graduation form recognised university with an agregate of 50% to get eligible for admission process for teh post graduate programme.
• candiates appered in the final year of graduation can also apply for the admission process but further doccuments they need to submit at the given time.
