can i hide my graduate trainee job which I left before probation in mba admission?
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
Whether the arrangement is probation, permanent, contract, or whatever, either the employer or the employee has the right to terminate the employment depending on the terms and circumstances outlined in the job contract. Modern occupations are not forced like slavery was hundreds of years ago, and they are at will jobs. Where the employee is working on his or her consent and the employer is enabling them to work on their will. As a result, as long as the terms and circumstances of the work contract are followed, any side can end the job without problems.
You must realise that a probation period in the workplace is similar to a trial period for a product or service. Probation is a period of time for both the company and the employee. Employers will consider if this person is a good match for the business culture, their ability to execute the job, their work ethics, their capacity to maintain healthy relationships with superiors and coworkers, and so on. At the same time, employees can assess whether the company is a good fit for them, whether they can work in a way that aligns with the company culture, how supportive and guiding their bosses are, how collaborative their coworkers are, how the company processes and procedures in place help them carry out their job functions, and so on.
So, during the probation period, any partner can easily terminate the engagement. Some firm work contracts stipulate that during the probation period, any side may terminate the position with or without cause.
Hope that you got the answer to your question. Feel free to comment back incase of any doubts. All the Best!
