Hi Anita,

For a B.Sc. in Agriculture, you do not need to write NEET. The admission to this course, which basically focuses on agricultural sciences, is decided on the  basis of the candidates' score in AIEEA which is conducted by  the  Indian Council of Agriculture. For eligibility to this examination, one should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as the compulsory subjects. Some of the best colleges for Agriculture in India are:

  • Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana
  • Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbature
  • Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar

This is a four-year course and the average salary of a B.Sc. Agriculture degree holder is Rs. 6.74 LPA.
