i think you will get it ,but try to attend the councelling.

Hi Saish.
Yes, you can join degree after completing your diploma in ME or any stream. You have to attend a test, usualy called Lateral Entry Test, which admits students like you to the 2nd year of the B.Tech. Almost all states conduct this test. IITs and NITs do not take in students via lateral entry.
