The admission to IIT's is only through JEE Advanced which is the second level of JEE Main entrance exam.

Therefore, you need to first appear in JEE Main, qualify in it with a remarkable rank and become eligible for JEE Advanced to appear in it.

MHT CET is not the exam for admission to IIT Bombay.

Also, IIT's are Central level institutions where national level exam scores are considered like JEE Main and JEE Advanced. MHT CET is a state level entrance exam for admission to colleges of the state.
