Can I join indian navy after completing 3 years diploma in ECE?
Yes you can join Indian Navy after completing the 3 year diploma in ECE.
The candidates have to appear and qualify in CDS entrance examination conducted by UPSC for final recruitment. Age limit for Indian Army is 19-24 years and 19-22 years for Indian Navy.
The examination is conducted in two stages as written and SSB for final recruitment.

After completing your 3 years Diploma in Electrical engineering ,You can opt for Electro technical Officer (ETO) Course from any institute approved by Director General Of Shipping.
There are many institute like Anglo eastern academy,BP marine academy etc who is offering the Electro technical Officer Course.I think duration of the course is around 6 Months.You should have secured at least 60% marks in your Diploma to be eligible for this course.
After Successful Completion of the Course ,You have to appear for Certificate of competency examination conducted by Govt.Of India.Once You will get your Certificate of Competency, You are eligible to Join as Electro technical Officer on any ship.
