Yes, you can join ISRO after a Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication. However, a degree is very often a requirement for posts of more responsibility, like engineer technician, senior engineer, and what not, for B.E. or B.Tech
Qualification
- Diploma would suffice for few jobs but for engineering cadre positions, a degree course would be preferred.
- Maximum Age: 18 - 35 years, provided relaxations for reserved classes.
- Entrance Tests: You may need to qualify written tests conducted by ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board, ICRB wherein interviews will also be conducted.
- Skills: Knowledge of designing circuits, communication networks, and other electronic devices' software applications can be helpful for a candidate.
Average Salary:
- Diploma degree: Rs 25,000-Rs 40,000 per month may be their initial salary
