can I join polytechnics mech. engg. after 12 commerce but showing class 10 certificate ?

Yes you can join any courses in polytechnic colleges if you passed / appearing 10th or equivalent to 10th such as ITI.
But some colleges take admission through through entrance exam According to respected state so should qualified the examination.
