Hello there,

The basic eligibility criteria for merchant navy is that the candidate must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or any institution.

Candidates have to be unmarried Indian citizens (male or female).

Normal eyesight is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be considered.

So, as per your query, you are not eligible to join merchant navy since you are from commerce stream.
