Definitely you can ask about the vacancies via contacting companies or simply you can go to that individual company's website and can search there if they have uploaded about the vacancies. You should also check newspaper for companies advertising job openings and you can do walk in interview into that company as companies where there's interview the venue is always mentioned in the newspaper.
