Admission to BAMS course in Maharashtra is only possible through NEET entrance test. You need to qualify NEET exam to be eligible for admission into BAMS. There are many government as well as private colleges offering BAMS. The only difference between the two is of the fee. Government ayurvedic colleges generally have fee less than a lakh whereas private ones have more than a lakh, sometimes more than 5 lakh. For admission in government colleges, you must score above 450 as you do not have Maharashtra domicile and will come under open category.
There is management quota in private colleges for which you will have to apply through the state counselling. The cut off usually goes low for them. The official website for it is http://cetcell.mahacet.org/
