It is very difficult to answer your query on search broad aspects in many departments are good in many colleges like for example in Kolkata I can tell u r g kar is very good with surgery where is national medical college is very good and gynaecology and obstetrics where is sskm hospital is very good with medicine
at the same time paediatric medicine is very good in medical college Kolkata where is you also cannot discount the fact that the way medicine is taught at AIIMS New Delhi or PGI Chandigarh cannot be compared to the way they will be taught in the colleges have mentioned above
you have to set some priorities and depending upon your rank you have to choose with your available resources and also depends upon your own actions after your mother choice you have to pursue that line about your life and cannot regret your decision later
