Inter College Migration is a process whereby candidates can apply for admission to another college of DU in their second year. After following certain criteria and checking if vacant seats are available college accept applicants. It admission under migration is allowed based on marks, which implicitly says merit will be the basis on which admission will be given. Moreover, the percentage required for migration differs from college to college and from course to course.
Some certain terms and conditions are followed in the process of migration:
Students are not allowed to migrate from regular college to Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) or School of Open Learning (SOL) as migration is enabled in semester mode and the SOL and NCWEB are annual.
Migration is not permitted from one college to another in a different course.
Inter College Migration is not permitted at the PG level.
The documents required for Inter College Migration:
Students need to sign a No Objection Certificate from the principal/head of the College where he wants to migrate as well as where he/she is presently studying.
A leaving certificate from the head/principal of the respective college.
The mark sheets of the exam already passed.
