Can I only attend Physics Chemistry and biology for Kcet is is compulsory to attend maths ?
Hello Aspirant,
The examination is governed through offline mode (pen and paper mode). In the examination,180 objective type questions will be inquired. Aspirants will have to write only for one subject from Biology/Mathematics. If you want to choose biology you don't have to attend Mathematics paper. Mathematics paper is not compulsory at all. Physics & Chemistry problems will be mandatory for all learners. For valid answers, one mark will be assigned to the candidates.
Marks distribution is as follows
Biology - 60
Mathematics - 60
Physics - 60
Chemistry - 60
Total - 180
1 hour 20 minutes each for paper.
Paper I – Mathematics/Biology (60 Questions)
Paper-II – Physics (60 Questions) and Chemistry (60 Questions)
Language - English/Kannada
No negative marking.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) administers Karnataka Common Entrance Test ( KCET) for entry into Engineering, B. Pharm, and Farm Science courses in Government/ University/ Private Aided/Private un-aided establishments in Karnataka State.
