Yes, you can opt for BA Travel and Tourism course if you want to become a travel writer. But, to become a writer, your writing skills and English skills should be the best, so that you can outperform others. BTW, you can also go for BA English Hons. and then study about Travel and Tourism to become a tourism writer. Choosing this will enhance your English and will make you a outstanding writer.

I mean I felt that ba travel and tourism degree is bit concerned with management and other stuff, that's why I've been in a dilemma whether I should go for that or not and also does ba travel and tourism degree worths for a travel writer sir and how can it play a role specially for travel writer? thanks a bunch sir, you're really generous and amiable..hope you answers me sir!!

If you are interested in studying Travel and Tourism, no problem..
Go for BA Tourism Studies or Bachelor of Tourism Studies or BA Travel and Tourism, so that there will not much need to learn management and other stuff and you will be free to learn about Travel and Tourism and focus on becoming a writer in this field.

No, I have said that have BA English degree and gain knowledge about tourism. Read some books, I am not saying to pursue both the courses..
