the basic eligibility criteria to get admission for the course B.Com (//B.Com) hons in ethiraj college is candidate must have completed their 10+2 from recognized board with subjects having accountancy ,commerce/business studies , mathematics/business mathematics and candidate must have secure a minimum aggregate of 75 percent marks in these three subjects altogether.

For pursuing bcom hons you must need to appear and pass for the mathematics examination in your class 12th. However you have an option to not include it in your best 4 subjects which would derive your percentage during admissions.

For example - if you have five subjects Accounts,business studies,economics,english and maths. Then you can opt your best 4 subjects to be English(compulsary to include in best4), Accounts, Economics and business studies. Marks in maths will not matter( remember you need to appear and pass the maths examination to be eligible to take admission in bcom honours)
