Hello dear student,

No you cannot participate in mop up round counselling as it is only for those candidates who didn't get seat in any of the previous rounds of counselling and as you said you got one so even if you vacant the seat still you won't get a seat . And mop up round only occurs under 85% state quota. So I hope this was helpful to you.

Best wishes

But i have already vacated the seat and conditions say a person who did not join the seat can participate further. By the way is it same for ayush all india counselling for deemed universities?

The Mop Up round is the process of counselling of seat allotment in medical colleges by states against the reverted seats from All India 15% qouta. This round is only for those candidates which do not get seats in round 1 and round 2. This is not applicable for the candidates who already got seats alloted.

Actually i had joined the college but later cancelled my admission within counselling period so basically i am not holding the seat which was alloted. Even after vacating the seat am i ineligible for the mop up of deemed universities? According to faqs released by neet all candidates except those who hold a seat of round one and two are eligible for mop up.

I think it say "alloted a seat" rather than "hold"

In the FAQ section, see 15 and 40.
It's clearly mentioned that you are not allowed to leave a college after joining in second round. Your security money also gets forfeited on not joining a college after second round.
I don't know how the college allowed you to surrender a seat as it is not counted as a vacant seat according to the info provided on website.
This is a bit crucial thing, so please clear your doubts by calling the official or meeting them in person.
